



A new report from an online publication has revealed that Bible college teachers from throughout China have been ordered to attend an indoctrination program at Beijing’s Central Institute of Socialism.
The report from Bitter Winter said the orders went out to Christian professors from all over the nation, and they were ordered to “a mandatory course of Marxism and Xi Jinping thought.”
The report explained the institute was created in 1956 by Mao “to educate to Marxism those who were not members of the Chinese Communist Party. It has become the main educational institution of the United Front.”
Its teachings are ordered and monitored by the Chinese Communist Party.
The report noted the dean, Hao Mingjin, is vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress.
To date, it has “trained” some 100,000 students.
The report said the “Training Course for Key Teachers of Christian Theological Schools” finished on June 2, and the course that focused on the Marxist principles of the 20th National Congress of the CCP and Xi’s “thought on a ‘new era of socialism.’”
The report explained, “Pastor Lin Manhong, deputy director-general of the China Christian Council and director of the Theological Education Department, presided at the closing ceremony and explained that the course helped teachers to acquire the needed ‘advanced Socialist culture.’”
