Utah Dept of Public Safety and FBI officials provide an update to the events overnight following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

DPS: ♦Two detained individuals were identified to be not suspects in the shooting.  The investigation is ongoing.  ♦The movements of the shooter were tracked via CCTV review.  ♦”We do have good video footage of this individual, that we are not going to release to the public at this time.”  ♦Utah DPS feels confident they will be able to identify the individual as a result of the video. ♦”Suspect blended in well with a college institution.” ♦”The individual appears to be of college age.”

FBI: ♦Agents working around the clock.  ♦Weapon has been recovered. A high-power bolt-action rifle, discovered in the woods where the shooter fled.  ♦Footprints also identified. “The community is not at risk.”
