


A sniper positioned on an adjacent building, opened fire on Immigration and Customs Enforcement early this morning. However, apparently instead of hitting ICE agents, the gunman ended up hitting detainees within the building.

Federal officials returned fire from the ICE building toward the sniper. The sniper then died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to MEDIA REPORTS, “One person was killed and two more were injured in a shooting at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas, the morning of Sept. 24, officials said.
Officers responded to calls at about 6:40 a.m. local time and determined that a shooter fired at the ICE building from an adjacent building, the Dallas Police Department said in a statement. The suspected shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said. (more)
VIA ABC – Three detainees were shot at the Dallas Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office during a movement in the facility’s sally port on Wednesday morning, law enforcement sources told ABC News.
“Multiple” victims are dead, acting ICE Director Todd Lyons told ABC News, while Dallas police said one person was killed and two were hurt.
The shooter — who appeared “to be a sniper from an elevated position” firing from “a couple hundred yards” away — died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Lyons said. Dallas police said it appears the shooter fired from an adjacent building. (read more)
