Michelle Obama is a two-time Grammy Award winner, besting other high-profile nominees including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Meryl Streep.

The former first lady took home a Grammy on Sunday during the awards preshow in the Best Audio Book, Narration and Storytelling Recording category for the audiobook of her 2022 self-help-style memoir, “The Light We Carry.”

In addition to the 2020 Democratic presidential candidate and “Little Women” star Streep, nominees in the category included actor William Shatner and veteran music producer Rick Rubin.

Obama first won a Grammy in the Spoken Word Album category for the narration of her 2020 bestseller, “Becoming.”

With her latest award, Michelle Obama and former President Obama are tied for Grammy wins. The ex-commander in chief won in the Best Spoken Word Album category in both 2006 and 2008.
