The man who was allegedly attacked by Mark Sanchez during an altercation in downtown Indianapolis over the weekend is suing the former NFL starting quarterback turned television analyst and his network, Fox.
In a suit filed Monday, lawyers for Perry Tole, a 69-year-old truck driver, alleged Sanchez started a fight that left him with “severe permanent disfigurement, loss of function” and other injuries and emotional distress.
Sanchez was arrested over the weekend in connection with the incident and has been charged with battery resulting in injury, public intoxication and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, prosecutors announced on Monday.

Indianapolis police have said Sanchez and Tole got into an argument over parking near a downtown hotel that eventually turned violent and left both men injured.
A former quarterback who spent multiple seasons with the New York Jets, Sanchez has been a color commentator and football analyst with Fox Sports since 2021.
Fox did not respond to a request for comment on Tole’s suit.
