Former President Trump is meeting with Republicans in Washington, D.C., on Thursday.

He is huddling with House Republicans in the morning, then is set to meet with GOP senators at 12:30 p.m.

It will be Trump’s first meeting with lawmakers since he was convicted on 34 felony counts in New York, and comes as Republicans in both chambers begin to <a href="https://thehill.com/homenews/4718987-bullish-gop-hones-legislative-plans-for-2025/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">plot an ambitious agenda</a> if he is reelected and they control the House and Senate.
