A video capturing a New Yorker’s impassioned defense of free speech has ignited a torrent of reactions across social media, amassing millions of views.

The man confronted another individual who was tearing down flyers that depicted victims of a Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.

These flyers have become a hotbed of political controversy as critics opposing Israel have taken to removing them.

The video shows one man pulling down the flyers while another questions his actions, capturing it all on his phone.

A third man then steps in to confront the person tearing down the flyers.

“I’m not fing Jewish. He’s not Jewish. I don’t know if he is or not — doesn’t fin’ matter!” the confrontational man said.

He added, “This is fing the U.S., New York City! You don’t have a fing right to touch that s***!”

His argument didn’t stop there; he further stressed, “It’s a free country, you can wave your Palestine flag and say death to the Jews or America or whatever you want! But we can put up f***ing signs!”

The person removing the flyers seemed to think he had done nothing wrong.

The confrontational New Yorker countered, “Then don’t rip that down! You are doing something. You’re offending us! Motherf***er!”

He followed it up by shouting, “Move the f*** on! You have proof they’re not kidnapped? No! So shut the f*** up!”

The video drew praise from prominent figures.

Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly called the confrontational New Yorker “a great American.”

Actor Dean Cain commented, “They’re always cowards when confronted,” while columnist Becket Adams added, “See, now that’s the NYC brand I was told about growing up.”

In a separate but related event in Florida, a dentist lost his job after he was caught on video removing similar flyers.

The dentist, a Muslim from Lebanon, claimed he thought the flyers were divisive and said he was trying to help by taking them down.
