Every year political cartoonists attempt to encapsulate the general sentiment around the country each American holiday and this Halloween is no different.
Well maybe it’s different because the news is a bit more frightening than usual.
Here are the three scariest and spookiest political cartoons we have seen for Halloween 2023:
This first cartoon speaks to the sense of foreboding Americans have surrounding the frightening Democrat agenda. They want to control us in every way possible.

Nails it!
Democrats don’t even try to hide their totalitarian agenda anymore as most of their supporters are in agreement with it.
This next cartoon is equally frightening as it shows how our national debt threatens to become an all consuming monster that threatens to devour and bankrupt our country:

Now that is frightening indeed!
And finally the scariest political cartoon we have seen this Halloween:

Now that is scary and it’s the result of failed policies at the highest level.
What’s even scarier is all of these cartoons reflect the truth about what is happening in our country and it’s getting worse by the day.
Exorcism Trained Priest Warns Against Ouija Board Use, ‘Angels, Demons, Spirits and Souls Do Exist,’
Many people think Ouija boards are just a fun game for a spooky night, but Fr. Dan Reehil, an exorcism-trained priest based in Nashville, warns that they’re far from harmless.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, Reehil cautioned that dabbling with Ouija boards can have serious spiritual risks.
“We too often forget that there is much more to this world than meets the eye,” he said.
“Angels, demons, spirits, and souls do exist and can have a major impact on our lives.”
So, who is Fr. Reehil?
Trained in Rome and serving as the official exorcist for the Diocese of Nashville since 2018, he is no stranger to the darker corners of spirituality.
He explained that an exorcist is a priest chosen to combat demonic forces through special prayers known as exorcisms.
And not all exorcisms are the same; they can be categorized into “major” and “minor.”
A major exorcism is reserved for people who are clearly possessed by demons and can only be done by a priest with specific approval from a bishop.
Minor exorcisms, on the other hand, are more common and are part of regular blessings and sacraments.
Reehil identified three levels of demonic involvement: temptation, obsession, and possession.
Temptation is something we all experience.
Obsession happens when demons cause physical or emotional torment.
Possession, the most severe and well-known, is when demons take over a person’s body.
“Possession is usually intermittent, almost never an uninterrupted possessing of the person’s body,” Reehil added.
Now, what’s the big deal with Ouija boards?
According to Reehil, using an Ouija board to communicate with the dead can open a dangerous doorway.
“Demons lie and impersonate dead people,” he said.
“Using an Ouija board is essentially inviting a demon into your life, whether you mean to or not.”
A bit of history: the Ouija board, initially known as a “talking board,” became popular in the late 19th century, a time when séances and spiritual activities were all the rage.
The board itself contains alphabets, numbers, and simple words like “yes,” “no,” and “goodbye.”
To use it, players place their hands on a small piece called a “planchette,” which is believed to move to spell out messages.
The term “Ouija” was coined when a medium named Helen Peters asked the board what it should be called.

The board responded with “O-U-I-J-A,” which it said meant “good luck.”
Since being patented in 1891, the board has been mass-produced and is now manufactured by Hasbro, which markets it as a way to communicate with the “spirit world.”
But Reehil strongly disagrees with labeling the Ouija board as a simple game.
“Ouija boards are not typical board games; they are forms of divination,” he said, pointing out that the Bible condemns such practices.
“The very act of using it has significant spiritual consequences that are beyond our control.
“
He cited several unsettling cases where Ouija board use seemed to trigger demonic activity, including night terrors and even suicidal thoughts.
One well-known case Reehil mentioned was that of “Roland Doe,” a teenager whose experience with demonic possession after using an Ouija board inspired the book and movie “The Exorcist.”
In wrapping up, Reehil had a clear message: avoid all forms of occult practices.
“Whenever we seek to engage demons, we move away from the One True God,” he said.
“Stay away from occult practices and stay close to God.”
Whether or not you believe in the supernatural, Reehil’s words serve as a stern warning.
The appeal of exploring the mysterious might be strong, but according to this experienced exorcist, the risks involved are not to be taken lightly—especially when dealing with forces beyond our everyday understanding.
