NextImg:Target VP Has Big Connection to Group Pushing Transgender Ideologies to K-12 Schools Behind Parents' Back

Target Corporation is in hot water again as it is discovered that one of their high-ranking executives is found to hold a concurrent position with GLSEN, a contentious K-12 advocacy group.

The group, which has been recognized as Target’s Pride Month collaborator, is known for its aggressive push for gender ideology in schools nationwide, permeating every aspect of K-12 education from lesson plans to district-wide policies.

Carlos Saavedra, a figurehead in Target’s brand marketing department with the title of Vice President, also serves as treasurer for GLSEN.

The advocacy group is notorious for promoting policies that leave parents uninformed about their child’s in-school gender transition, supplying schools with sexually explicit literature at no charge, and integrating gender ideology throughout all curriculums in public schools.

Neither Target nor Saavedra were available for immediate comment when questioned about this association by Fox News.

“GLSEN leads the movement in creating affirming… and anti-racist spaces for LGBTQIA+ students. We are proud of 10+ years of collaboration with GLSEN and continue to support their mission,” Target stated.

The retail behemoth also confirmed that it has made annual contributions to GLSEN, which have totaled a substantial sum of at least $2.1 million.

The company did not provide a response when asked about the decision-making process behind its collaboration with GLSEN.

An insight into GLSEN’s mission reveals a call for gender ideology to permeate every subject, including math. The group offers guidance to educators on how to render math “more inclusive of trans and non-binary identities,” suggesting the use of “they/them” pronouns in word problems.

Furthermore, GLSEN provides model district policies designed to limit parents’ awareness of their child’s gender transition while at school.

Their suggested policy for districts asserts, “[The local education agency] shall ensure that all personally identifiable and medical information relating to transgender and nonbinary students is kept confidential.”

It goes on to add, “Staff or educators shall not disclose any information that may reveal a student’s gender identity to others, including parents or guardian… This disclosure must be discussed with the student, prior to any action.”

GLSEN also offers no-cost books to full-time school staff, some of which contain sexually explicit content.

Target found itself in the height of controversy over their LGBTQ Pride merchandise, prompting the company to relocate their collection in some stores, away from the front, following customer “outrage” in order to avert a “Bud Light situation.”

Across the nation, numerous Target locations offer products catering to transgender individuals, ranging from “tuck friendly” bathing suits to mugs bearing the inscription “gender fluid.”

However, the retail powerhouse has the recipient of conservative backlash for these displays, with items marketed towards children particularly provoking consternation among many customers.

Target also found itself in the crosshairs for its partnership with U.K.-based brand Abprallen, helmed by designer Eric Carnell, a self-proclaimed Satanist known for incorporating occult imagery and statements like “Satan respects pronouns” into his brand’s apparel.

Carnell, the transgender designer behind the brand, argued in an Instagram post that Satan symbolizes “passion, pride, and liberty” and “loves all LGBT+ people.”

As we continue to question the influence of corporations in our educational systems, these developing stories serve as a reminder to maintain vigilance in upholding the values we cherish.
