Halloween is over and the unofficial start of the holiday season begins for retailers. Starbucks has announced its holiday assortment of festive-themed food and beverages with some new offerings along with the tried and true favorites, available November 2 through the end of the year.

This year Starbuck’s is focusing on gingerbread, featuring new additions such as the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Latte and the Oleato Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte.

The Oleato Gingerbreat Oatmilk Latte is only available in select locations where the olive oil-infused Oleato line is sold.

These new items join the roster alongside returning seasonal favorites like the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and assorted baked goods such as the peppermint brownie cake pop.

“It’s a love letter to gingerbread and ginger,” said Mat Thornton, senior beverage developer at Starbucks. “The gingerbread flavor amplifies the spice of the chai.”

The Seattle-based coffee behemoth’s new holiday offerings echo two significant consumer trends: a growing preference for dairy milk alternatives and a sustained demand for iced beverages.

Iced options, in fact, currently account for 75% of Starbucks customer sales—even enduring through the colder months. This trend was also evident in the 2021 introduction and subsequent return this year of the iced sugar cookie almond milk latte.

Beyond the beverages, Starbucks’ annual release of seasonal red cups remains a keenly anticipated tradition. This year, the designs are more diversified, with four options: Peppermint Swirl, Bauble Wrap, Party Plaid, and Ribbon Spool.

These cups feature vibrant blends of red, green, and hot pink. Additionally, a new holiday cold cup design has been unveiled, displaying a minimalist interpretation of the bauble design, an acknowledgment of Starbucks’ year-round success with iced beverages.
