John Schneider, best known for his role in “The Dukes of Hazzard,” is currently under Secret Service investigation due to his controversial statements about President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden.

The Secret Service, which safeguards the President, Vice President, and other key political figures, has begun looking into the actor’s comments after he suggested that President Biden and his son should be “publicly hung” for treason.

This was in response to President Biden labeling former President Donald Trump as a threat to democracy.

Schneider’s remarks, which he quickly deleted from the internet, have caused significant uproar on the left and in the media.

This incident comes at a time when violent speech against former President Trump by some leftist individuals has been seemingly ignored.

Despite the seriousness of Schneider’s statements, both the White House and the Secret Service have not made any public statements about the investigation.

Making a credible threat against the President or other protected persons is a serious crime, punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

Those convicted might also face restrictions on internet use and a period of supervised release after serving their sentence.

The law firmly prohibits any threatening behavior aimed at harming or kidnapping the President, Vice President, their immediate family, and other designated officials.

Following the backlash, Schneider has come forward to deny the accusations, releasing two public statements.
