Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac has announced the launch of his own sports and apparel brand aimed at championing Christian and conservative values.
Isaac expressed his intentions in a video shared on Twitter, where he said “You have companies that are in that field who have made a conscious decision to either attack or undermine Christian values, conservative values, and things like that. And I think they have the free choice to do so, as much as I disagree, but I feel that we also have the freedom to create what we want to create.”
In response to the growing trend of companies like Adidas and Nike going fully woke, Isaac founded UNITUS, a sports and apparel company built on the foundation of freedom.
His vision for UNITUS involves signing athletes from various sports to establish a network that produces sneakers and clothing that align with Christian and conservative values.
During an interview with Amala Ekpunobi for the PragerU documentary “Unwoke Inc.,” Isaac emphasized the importance of being proud of one’s beliefs without feeling the need to hide or be ashamed of them.
As societal tensions escalate and cultural divisions widen, Isaac cautioned that standing up for one’s convictions would become increasingly challenging but also more essential.
Isaac gained widespread attention in 2020 when he chose not to kneel during the national anthem in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, setting himself apart as the sole NBA player to do so.
He attributed his bold stance to his faith in Jesus Christ and his refusal to conform to the prevailing BLM narrative.
The UNITUS brand, spearheaded by Jonathan Isaac, is set to be launched this August.
Its emergence coincides with a surge in conservative-led boycotts against companies that advocate woke ideologies. Recent examples include boycotts against Bud Light, Target, and Kohl’s, which have faced criticism for promoting progressive agendas to consumers.
As Isaac’s initiative takes shape, it presents an alternative for individuals who feel disenchanted with companies that disregard their Christian and conservative values.
The UNITUS brand seeks to create a space where these individuals can find sports and apparel options that resonate with their beliefs.
With its anticipated launch, UNITUS aims to become a prominent player in the sports and apparel industry, offering a viable choice for those seeking an alternative to woke-influenced brands.
