At the Turning Point Action conference in Florida, SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly shared her thoughts on how Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis can improve his polling numbers.

During an interview with The Daily Signal, Kelly commended DeSantis’ recent interview with Tucker Carlson and addressed the polls indicating his trailing position behind former President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination.

“I really think the number one thing he needs to do is get himself in front of adversarial liberal media and fight,” Kelly emphasized.

When asked which media outlets DeSantis should consider, Kelly responded, “If he could just get in front of these, you know, go on MSNBC, that’s what I would tell him to do.”

Kelly acknowledged the predominantly left-wing nature of networks like MSNBC, CNN, and others, stating that DeSantis should seize the opportunity to engage with them and make his case. She even jokingly suggested appearing on MSNBC’s Joy Reid or joining the panel of “The View.”

In line with expanding his media presence, DeSantis is scheduled to be interviewed by CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tuesday following a policy rollout in South Carolina, as reported by the New York Post.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) disclosures reveal that since DeSantis announced his presidential run, his campaign and the pro-DeSantis Super PAC, Never Back Down, have raised a staggering $20 million in just six weeks.

The combined war chest now stands at $150 million, indicating a substantial financial advantage to support DeSantis’ bid for the nomination.
