This new location in Meridian, Idaho, a suburb of Boise, is set to open on Tuesday. It is the chain’s first venture into the famous potato-growing state.

In-N-Out’s journey from a small burger stand in Baldwin Park, California, to a major player in the fast-food industry is a story of steady growth and commitment to its roots.

Founded in 1948, In-N-Out has gradually expanded from its original spot in the San Gabriel Valley to cover various states including California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Colorado.

Now, under the leadership of Lynsi Snyder, the granddaughter of founders Harry and Esther Snyder, the company is pushing its boundaries even further. Plans are underway to open new restaurants in New Mexico and Tennessee, revealing the brand’s ambition for wider national presence.

The new Idaho location will have about 80 associates, starting at an impressive wage of $17.50 per hour. This move reflects In-N-Out’s commitment to offering competitive compensation in the fast-food industry.

The company’s story and its success factors are being celebrated in a new book by Lynsi Snyder, titled “The Ins-N-Outs of In-N-Out Burger”. Released in line with In-N-Out’s 75th anniversary.

The book explores the history of the Snyder family and the secrets behind the brand’s loyal customer base. Key themes in the book include the company’s focus on quality, its Christian faith, and the importance of family values.
