Madonna, the renowned pop sensation, was rushed to a hospital in New York City after being found unresponsive this past Saturday.
Page Six reports that the pop singer had to be intubated and spent a night under medical care before the tube was removed.
Thankfully, Madonna is now on the road to recovery and is expected to make a full comeback.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Madonna’s talent manager, Guy Oseary, shed light on the situation, revealing that she had developed a severe bacterial infection on Saturday, which ultimately led to her extended stay in the ICU.
Oseary further reassured fans that Madonna’s health is gradually improving, but she still requires medical attention. Nevertheless, a complete recovery is anticipated.
During her unexpected hospitalization, Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, has reportedly remained by her side, offering support and comfort throughout this challenging time.
The New York Post had previously reported that Madonna, now 64 years old, had been gearing up to embark on her highly anticipated “Celebration” tour within the next few weeks.
This tour, scheduled to coincide with the celebration of her 40th music career anniversary, was slated to commence on July 15 at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena.
However, due to the recent setback caused by the bacterial infection, the launch of the tour will be postponed.
Additionally, all other commitments the singer had made will have to be rescheduled.

Oseary addressed the situation, stating, “Given the circumstances, we will have to temporarily halt all commitments, including the tour.
We will keep you informed with further details as they become available, including the new tour start date and rescheduled shows.”
According to The New York Post, just three days before Madonna’s hospitalization, the pop icon joyously celebrated the graduation of her twin daughters from elementary school.
She proudly shared a snapshot of her ten-year-old twins, Stelle and Estere, on social media, captioning it, “2 Kweens!!!! Happy Graduation!”
