During an appearance on this Sunday’s CNN’s “State of the Union,” Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) voiced strong concerns about the potential consequences of President Joe Biden’s re-election, suggesting that it could lead to unrecognizable changes in America and even more global instability.
He argued that a continuation of Biden’s presidency would be disastrous for both domestic peace and international relations.
Graham specifically criticized Biden’s handling of the U.S. border, contrasting it with former President Donald Trump’s approach, whom he credited with more effectively managing border issues and maintaining global peace.
In response to a question about Liz Cheney’s warning against a second Trump presidency, Graham acknowledged Cheney’s deep dislike for Trump.
However, Graham defended Trump’s record, saying Trump was a far more effective leader than Biden, especially in terms of foreign policy and border control.
“I think a continuation of the Biden presidency would be a disaster for peace and prosperity at home and abroad. Our border is broken. The only person who is really going to fix a broken border is Donald Trump.”
“When he was president, none of this stuff was going on in Ukraine. You know, Hamas and all these other terrorist groups were afraid of Trump. I think Liz’s hatred of Trump is real. I understand why people don’t like what he does and says at times.”
“But in terms of actions and results, he was a far better president than Biden. And if we have four more years of this, Liz Cheney, then we won’t recognize America and the world will be truly on fire.”
Graham then pointed to the situation in Ukraine and the behavior of terrorist groups like Hamas during Trump’s tenure as examples of Trump’s stronger international stance.
He concluded by warning that another four years under Biden could lead America and the world into a state of chaos and unrecognizability.
