Transgender advocate Dylan Mulvaney broke his silence on Thursday, claiming that his critics “dehumanize” him, while referring to the mainstream criticism of his transgender advocacy as inhuman “noise.”
His statement comes after a three-week hiatus from social media in the wake of the public uproar following Anheuser-Busch’s decision to hire him to promote Bud Light beer.
Mulvaney shared his thoughts in a Instagram post, stating, “I’ve been offline for a few weeks, and a lot has been said about me, some of which is so far from my truth that I was like hearing my name and I didn’t even know who they were talking about sometimes … what I’m struggling to understand is the need to dehumanize and to be cruel.” He continued, expressing his trust that people who know him and his heart won’t listen to the “noise.”
However, the so-called “noise” stems from millions of ordinary individuals who object to the elite-driven transgender ideology that Mulvaney supports in partnership with various companies, including Maybelline cosmetics.

The transgender ideology calls for governments to forcefully suppress the civic and legal recognition of the two distinct and complementary differences between the sexes. This regressive goal poses new risks for Americans’ physical health, youth development, mental health, sciences, and overall life satisfaction.
Moreover, the ideology aims to dismantle numerous single-sex institutions and activities, such as sports, bathrooms, and clubs, which enable men and women, gays and lesbians, and young girls and boys to both compete and cooperate in a diverse democracy.
This ideology also limits people’s freedom and generates civic confusion by asserting that individuals’ sex is determined by their “gender identity.”
This belief pressures girls involved in male-typical activities to identify as “transgender men” and effeminate teenagers and men to identify as women.
On Thursday, Mulvaney stated, “I’m a theatre person and … I’m camp, but this is just my personality, and it always has been.”
A Rasmussen poll of 1,041 adults, released on April 18, indicated that 54% of Americans support a Bud Light boycott following the brewer’s choice to hire a transgender spokesperson.
The boycott supporters include 53% of men, 57% of white respondents, 66% of Republicans, and 57% of individuals under 40 years old.
Since the boycott began, Bud Light beer sales have dropped a “staggering” 17%.
