NextImg:Dodger Star Releases 'Hostage Video' to Apologize After Pointing to Jesus as to Why He Opposed Trans Culture

Conservatives have made significant strides in combating the excessive woke culture promoted by major corporations like Bud Light and Target.

However, there is still a long road ahead.

Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Anthony Bass recently found himself at the center of controversy when he shared a video on his Instagram page expressing support for a biblical perspective that called for Christians to boycott Target and Bud Light.

Before we delve into Bass’ subsequent apology, let’s examine the clip he shared.

Ryan Miller, an Instagram user known as “dudewithgoodnews,” presented a biblical argument explaining why Christians should boycott certain corporations.

He cited specific verses, emphasizing the perceived evil and demonic nature of their actions.

While Miller faced criticism for allegedly taking scripture out of context, it was Bass who faced the most backlash.

In a hostage-style apology statement, he expressed regret for being a man of faith prior to the Blue Jays’ game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

“I realize that my previous post caused harm to the Pride community, which includes my friends and close family members. I sincerely apologize for that,” Bass addressed the media. “I have spoken with my teammates and apologized to them. Currently, I am utilizing the Blue Jays’ resources to educate myself better and make more informed decisions going forward. The ballpark is open to everyone, and we welcome all fans. That’s all I have to say. Thank you.”

The timing of Bass’ video sharing could not have been worse for the struggling Blue Jays, who have a series of events planned in June to commemorate Pride month.

The team currently ranks last in the American League East and has lost seven of their last ten games.

Sean Davis, CEO of The Federalist, echoed the sentiments of many Christian conservatives in response to Bass’ statement.

He took to Twitter, expressing his frustration: “Major League Baseball is demanding apologies from Christians who did nothing wrong while supporting demons who target children for genital mutilation.”

Bass has faced social media challenges in recent months, including deleting his Twitter account in April following a complaint about an incident on a United Airlines flight.

He alleged that airline staff instructed his pregnant wife to clean up their child’s “popcorn mess” on the floor.

While some may argue that Bass overreacted in that situation, it is difficult to view the current backlash against him as anything other than profoundly unfair.

He is being labeled a bigot for expressing agreement with a Christian viewpoint, while the LGBTQ community, which has displayed its own brand of bigotry, demands a heavy price for his religious beliefs.

We find ourselves in a world gone mad, where true intolerance lies with those who demand unwavering conformity to their cause or face cancellation.

It is an absurd situation, and the only way to counter it is by consistently challenging their narrative in the court of public opinion.
