Chinese President Xi Jinping’s attendance at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in San Francisco has drawn attention to a crucial issue: the fentanyl trade between China and the US.

Reports suggest that discussions between Xi and President Biden during the summit could lead to a groundbreaking agreement.

Under this agreement, China would regulate the production and export of fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid responsible for a significant portion of overdose deaths in the US.

This potential deal raises questions about China’s role in the fentanyl crisis.

The agreement implies that both China and the United States had the capability to control the fentanyl problem turning our inner cities into hellholes at any time but chose not to act until now.

So why did it take so long?

In 2022 more than 75,000 Americans died from Fentanyl overdoses. If you could control it at any time who is responsible for all those deaths?

Just like the way San Francisco chose to turn itself into a Potemkin Village by clearing the downtown area of homeless encampments and open air drug dealing to impress the global elite.

An even bigger question is why does the USA have to make concessions to China so they’ll stop killing Americans via the fentanyl trade?
