Sam Brinton, the former Biden administration official facing charges of multiple airport thefts, was previously associated with the Washington, D.C. chapter of an anti-Catholic group that recently made headlines for being initially uninvited, then re-invited, to the upcoming Dodgers Pride Night.
Tax filings reviewed by Fox News Digital revealed that Brinton served as the principal officer of the D.C. Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a local chapter of the San Francisco-based drag queen group known for its mockery of the Catholic Church.
“When we are asked, ‘Why are you mocking nuns?’ we answer: ‘We are nuns!’ We do all that traditional nuns have done for centuries,” the D.C. Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence website states.
According to their website, the D.C. Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence describe themselves as nuns who carry on the traditions of their religious counterparts while promoting universal joy and expiating stigmatic guilt.
Their activities include public manifestations, habitual perpetration, and events such as “bar ministry” gatherings, drag brunches, White House protests, and even a “high heel race.”
In 2019, under the name Sister Ray Dee O’Active, Brinton attended an Easter gathering organized by the national organization in San Francisco.
“We’re celebrating 40 years of history,” Brinton, as Sister Ray Dee O’Active, told Mission Local during the event. “For some of us, this is the first time we’ve ever seen so many sisters in one place, and I think it’s the best kind of family reunion.”
“Tufts of hot pink feathers float gently through the air as a woman proudly shows off her twirl-worthy green tutu,” the Mission Local report stated. “Behind her, a man with a multi-colored unicorn hat adjusts the purple feather boa around his neck. A boy blocks his face from the sun with his mom’s hands, while a group of nearby children inspect their candy-filled Easter eggs.”
After receiving criticism from the Catholic community, the Los Angeles Dodgers initially withdrew their invitation to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for the June 16 Pride Night.
However, bowing to immense pressure and pushback from the LGBTQ+ community, the Dodgers reversed their decision and extended their apologies.
“After much thoughtful feedback from our diverse communities, honest conversations within the Los Angeles Dodgers organization and generous discussions with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the Los Angeles Dodgers would like to offer our sincerest apologies to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, members of the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families,” the Dodgers said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Brinton, who attracted attention last year for being appointed to oversee nuclear waste policy at the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Energy as a non-binary gender-fluid person, has faced legal troubles related to multiple alleged thefts of baggage at various airports across the country.
In October, Brinton was charged with stealing a traveler’s luggage worth $2,325 from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.
Another charge of grand larceny, valued between $1,200 and $5,000, was brought against Brinton in Las Vegas after allegedly stealing a suitcase worth a total of $3,670, containing jewelry, clothing, and makeup.
More recently, Brinton was arrested in Maryland as a “fugitive from justice” in connection with a 2018 theft at Ronald Reagan Washington Airport, where a Tanzanian fashion designer claimed custom designs were stolen from their baggage.
Under the Biden administration’s unrequited agenda for inclusivity, they hired a drag queen leader from an anti-Cathol offensive organization who turned out to be nothing more than a common thief to lead an important role in the Department of Energy.
The LA Dodgers seem to be caught in their own trap; trying to embrace the woke of Los Angeles while not losing their fan base, the average American who just wants to watch baseball without social justice and political interference.
It will be interesting to see if the fans accept the latest decision or turn and run like they did with Bud Light.
