MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell just got some very bad news.
On Thursday an arbitration panel ruled that MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell must pay $5 million after his “Prove Mike Wrong” challenge was met by expert Robert Zeidman.
Lindell offered the reward to anyone who could debunk his claim that data from the 2020 election showed interference and voter fraud.
Zeidman, a self-professed Donald Trump voter, took up the challenge and submitted his findings.
He wrote, “I have proven that the data Lindell provides … unequivocally does not contain packet data of any kind and do not contain any information related to the November 2020 election.”
The arbitration panel ruled in favor of Zeidman, agreeing that he successfully debunked Lindell’s claim.
Lindell himself created the contest, reward, and arbitration panel as the means to resolve disputes related to the challenge.
The fine print of the “Prove Mike Wrong” challenge specified binding arbitration as the method for resolving any disputes.
Zeidman sought arbitration after Lindell Management attempted to renege on the reward.
In response to the panel’s ruling, Lindell said he plans to take the matter to court.
Speaking with the Washington Post, Zeidman said the panel “clearly saw this as I did — that the data we were given at the symposium was not at all what Mr. Lindell said it was. The truth is finally out there.”
Lindell, in a text reply to the Post, expressed his disagreement with the decision, stating, “They made a terribly wrong decision! This will be going to court!”
