



Florence Hackman, affectionately known as “Flo,” recently celebrated a momentous occasion, her 105th birthday, in a manner befitting her spirited character.
Residing at the Traditions of Deerfield assisted living community in Loveland, Ohio, Flo is known for her daily ritual of enjoying Fireball whisky, a habit that has become a hallmark of her longevity.
On December 16, Flo’s birthday celebration was anything but ordinary, thanks to a thoughtful gesture from Fireball. The brand, having learned about Flo’s affection for their cinnamon whisky, surprised her with 105 shooters, one for each year of her life.
This unexpected gift deeply moved Flo, who told Fox News Digital, “It was a totally unexpected thing,” expressing her sheer astonishment and joy at the gesture.
The festivities didn’t stop at the generous whisky tribute. Surrounded by some 50 guests, Flo spent her day immersed in the excitement of a Cincinnati Bengals game, which ended in a victorious 27-24 win against the Minnesota Vikings. The atmosphere was undoubtedly festive, with the joy of her favorite team’s victory adding an extra layer of celebration to her special day.
Born in Cincinnati on December 16, 1918, Flo has lived through a century of history, working for an insurance company before embracing the role of a homemaker.
Her vivacious personality and zest for life have made her a cherished member of the Traditions of Deerfield community.
In a press release, the staff honored her, noting, “Hackman has a great personality and is a ‘beloved resident’ at Traditions of Deerfield.” They further described her as the “life of the party” and someone who continuously reminds everyone “how joyful life can be as we age.”
