NextImg:Wrist Slaps For Left-Wing Violence Invite Attacks On Conservatives

Two teenagers who brutally assaulted former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer Edward “Big Balls” Coristine did not receive any jail time in yet another instance of left-wing judges protecting militant thugs from being held accountable in any meaningful way.

D.C. Superior Court Judge Kendra Davis Briggs, a nominee of former President Joe Biden, sentenced two 15-year-olds from Hyattsville, Maryland, to probation after they were arrested for an Aug. 3 attack on 19-year-old Coristine that left him bloody and battered.

The two sentenced to probation — a male and female — were among a “group of 10 guys,” Coristine said, many of whom apparently remain at-large. Coristine suffered a concussion and a broken nose after he and a female companion were jumped by the group.

The slap-on-the-wrist from Briggs comes after another Biden judge gave the would-be assassin of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh a laughably light sentence, citing the assassin’s claim of being a “transgender” woman, despite his being a male.

While prosecutors sought a 30-year sentence for would-be assassin Nicholas Roske (who now says he goes by the name “Sophie”), Maryland U.S. District Judge Deborah Boardman instead gave him eight years.

“Though she got far too close to executing her plans, the fact of the matter is she abandoned them,” Boardman said, using female pronouns to refer to Roske, a male. “I take into consideration the conditions of pre-trial confinement and the fact that she is a transgender woman and will be sent to a male-only [Bureau of Prisons] facility.”

The message from left-wing judges is clear: If you plot or perpetrate violence against conservatives, you will be rewarded with light sentences. The message it sends to would-be leftist terrorists yet to commit their violence is that the criminal justice system has their back. Nothing short of impeachment and removal from office for Boardman is sufficient.

Terrorism is a pillar of the left-wing movement, and their bloodthirsty activists and politicians want more of it. Many on the left justified and even applauded the assassination of Charlie Kirk. They want Americans dead if they disagree with their politics, and they will inspire, import, and protect any terrorist who accomplishes that goal.

The Democrat Party is a domestic terrorist organization. Perhaps no recent example has made that more clear than literally zero elected officials pulling their endorsements of Democrat Virginia attorney general candidate Jay Jones, who tripled down on his fantasy that he could assassinate a Republican colleague and that the Republican colleague’s wife would be forced to watch her children die in her arms.

Despite the fact that Jones is a wannabe family annihilator, his Democrat friends would barely condemn his texts — and some voiced even more support for him. Democrat gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger declined five times to withdraw her endorsement of Jones during one debate alone. A local Democrat Party in Virginia is hosting a “solidarity” event with Jones, headlined by U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., and Rep. Eugene Vindman, D-Va.

Why would any Democrat pull the endorsement of a man who simply voiced what they all believe?

There is no incentive to do so. In fact, the disincentive is that their foot soldiers might stop committing political violence against their enemies — and why would they stop that when they know the judges they have installed will let the terrorists get away with it?

While left-wing violence is on an upswing, it is not anything new, and institutional support for it has always been there. Virtually no one was held accountable for burning down American cities during the George Floyd riots in 2020, and the rioters who were caught had the monetary and legal backing of people like Kamala Harris and others.

Left-wing terrorists are given legal cover from judges and political cover from politicians and commentators, sending one very loud message to their militants: Don’t stop.
