Fifty-one percent of Americans approve of Trump’s immigration and border security policies, according to an NBC poll. This number is up 2 percent from a similar poll taken in April before the LA riots began.
As always, NBC chose to focus on the negative with the headline “Americans disapprove of Trump’s performance,” although his current 45 percent overall approval rating is higher than Biden’s 42 percent and Trump’s 41 percent in his first term. In lockstep with one another, left-wing outlets continue trying to turn the American people against many of the policies they voted for, including DOGE cuts, important provisions in the “big, beautiful bill,” and an America-first economy.
NBC said it conducted the poll during the L.A. riots as President Trump deployed the National Guard.
In November Trump won in a landslide election after running on promises to secure the border and deport illegal aliens from the country. Yet Democrats, left-wing activists, activist judges, and the accomplice media have consistently defended violent criminals illegally present in the country. Multiple Democrat politicians have also actively undermined and smeared federal law enforcement amid their efforts to carry out Trump’s popular policies.
While rioters in L.A. injure police officers, throw rocks, burn squad cars, and loot businesses, the left-wing media continue to assure the American people that this is “not a ‘real riot.’” They say foreign nationals flying their flag in American streets are just proud of their heritage. If the polls are any indication, the American people are not listening.
Trump’s immigration agenda remains his most popular policy. Twenty percent of his voters say it’s their foremost issue, topped only by the economy. Approval of his immigration policy increased among Republicans and independents between NBC’s April and June polls.
According to a CBS poll from earlier this month, 54 percent of Americans approve of Trump’s deportation policy. The Daily Caller reported that 53 percent of Hispanic voters back “increasing the pace” of Trump’s deportations. A March poll from Pew Research Center showed that 32 percent of Americans approve of deporting all illegal immigrants and 51 percent approve of deporting some. Of that 51 percent, 97 percent support deporting violent criminals.
