NextImg:Media Pushing 'Trans' Pronoun Delusions Are Part Of The Problem

The pagan idol of “transgenderism” has become a destructive force in modern American culture. So leave it to the country’s propaganda media to keep pushing its many delusions.

The media’s behavior following the deadly shooting by a trans-identifying man at a Minneapolis-based Catholic school that left two children dead and many others injured has been nothing short of horrific. Not only are many of these so-called “news” organizations attempting to whitewash the fact that the alleged shooter identified as transgender, but they’re also going to extreme lengths to accommodate the deceased suspect’s insanity by using his “preferred pronouns.”

During a segment on CNN, Russia collusion hoaxer Jake Tapper took a moment to clear up any “confusion” viewers might have about the identity of the alleged shooter. In typical propagandist fashion, the network host jumped at the chance to refer to 23-year-old suspect Robin Westman — a male who changed his name from Robert — with female pronouns.

“There’s been some confusion about what the shooter’s name was. Robin Westman’s mother applied to change her child’s name in 2019,” Tapper said, appearing to read from another report discussing the name change. “It was, at one point, Robert Paul Westman, but since she identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification … it’s now Robin Westman.”

It takes a new level of derangement to submit to the psychotic fantasies of a guy who allegedly just shot up a Christian school filled with small children — even for a left-wing hack like Tapper. And yet, the CNN host is hardly the only “journalist” willing to deny reality in order to prop up the damaging tenets of transgenderism.

The New York Times ran a Wednesday article titled, “Minneapolis Suspect Knew Her Target, but Motive Is a Mystery.” Throughout the piece, authors Talya Minsberg, Amy Harmon, and Aric Toler repeatedly refer to Westman as “she,” “her,” and “Ms. Westman,” while also attempting to cast uncertainty on the anti-Christian suspect’s motives.

On MSNBC, network investigative correspondent Marc Santia used “they/them” pronouns when describing Westman.

“Police have said publicly that Robin Westman is in their twenties, with a limited criminal history,” Santia said. “NBC News has confirmed with those same law enforcement officials that the suspect left behind videos that were posted online. There were writings that referenced suicide, as well as extremely violent thoughts and ideas. There was an apology to their family and a handwritten sketch of the interior layout of a church.”

BBC Verify Assistant Editor Olga Robinson also described Westman as a “her” and “their” when detailing her team’s process for identifying the suspect.

“As soon as the name Robin Westman emerged online as the suspect in the Minneapolis school shooting we started looking for any social media by that person and quickly found a YouTube channel which appeared to be associated with her,” Robinson wrote in an update post. “Court records we checked suggested the suspect had previously changed their name, from Robert to Robin, and we were able to match key details from those records with information contained in the suspect’s notebooks.”

Even Fox News went out of its way to refer to Westman as “their.”

Despite their professed devotion to the “facts,” legacy media’s willingness to bend over backwards to indulge and promote the lunacy of transgenderism exposes their complicity in the attempted normalization of a sick and unnatural ideology.

Contrary to their coverage, men are men, and women are women. One cannot change into the other, no matter how many times he or she attempts to “identify” as the opposite sex or adopt new “pronouns.”

To state otherwise and accommodate the deluded beliefs of transgenderism’s adherents and proponents is not only an abdication of the truth, but reality itself.

This position used to be considered common sense not that long ago. But thanks to major American institutions’ (including the media) role in adhering to transgenderism’s untethered ideas, its subscribers have come away emboldened to fervently demand that others participate in their delusions as well.

Once again, the members of America’s press have found themselves as part of this ever-growing problem that has arguably cascaded into the extreme violence witnessed in places like Minneapolis. And naturally, they seem to have no interest in solving it.
