NextImg:Latest Unsealed Docs Expose Obama, Hillary, And The Russia Lie

Of all of the bombshell revelations in newly declassified documents detailing the making of the Russia collusion hoax, perhaps the least stunning is that Democratic officials believed Hillary Clinton was suffering from “intensified psycho-emotional problems.”

That troubling nugget is part of a file — a dossier, if you will — that the Russians reportedly held on the failed 2016 presidential candidate. The fact that Bad Vlad Putin and the Kremlin crew didn’t drop the politically damaging information during the campaign blows up the manufactured premise of the corrupt “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation.

“Putin held back leaking some compromising material for post-election use against the expected Clinton Administration,” states a declassified 2020 report from the Republican-led House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI). The report was released Wednesday with the approval of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who in recent days has unsealed a trove of buried Intelligence Community (IC) records exposing what she has described as a “years-long coup” against President Donald Trump.

“This report is the final nail in the coffin of the Russia hoax, which has perpetrated the greatest political fraud on the American people for over 8 years and undermined President Trump’s first term in office,” Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford, R-Ark., said Wednesday in a press release. “This HPSCI staff report, for the first time, exposes in-depth details on how the Intelligence Community manufactured the Russia collusion hoax.”

‘Unclear and Unverifiable’

The report found that President Barack Obama’s top intelligence leaders, particularly his CIA Director John Brennan, drove a phony Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) claiming the Kremlin “aspired to help [Trump’s] chances of victory.” It wasn’t just a shoddy theory; it was contrived. And several intelligence officials had significant misgivings about a post-election intelligence report — leaked to the usual, thirsty liberal lapdogs in corporate media — based on very bad intelligence.

“One scant, unclear and unverifiable fragment of a sentence from one of the substandard reports constitutes the only classified information cited to suggest Putin ‘aspired’ to help Trump win,” the committee report asserts.

“The ICA ignored or selectively quoted reliable intelligence reports that challenged – and in some cases undermined – judgments that Putin sought to elect Trump,” the House committee investigation found.

The report is a withering indictment of the Obama White House and its Deep State players, who rushed a seriously flawed assessment with significant political consequences. That ICA would become the catalyst of the Russia collusion hoax that dogged and undercut Trump’s first term. Brennan, according to the report, picked five CIA analysts to write the Intelligence Community Assessment “and rushed its production in order to publish two weeks before the President-elect was sworn in.”

“Hurried coordination and limited access to the draft” led to myriad credibility issues in a final intelligence assessment that contained information that was “unclear, of uncertain origin, potentially biased, or implausible,” the report stated. And that mess became foundational for the Obama White House-driven judgment that “Putin preferred Trump over Clinton.”

“The ICA misrepresented these reports as reliable, without mentioning their significant underlying flaws,” the 2020 oversight report blasts.

What was clear, according to the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, was that Putin and Kremlin senior officials, if mostly indifferent, leaned toward a Clinton win. They believed Obama’s former secretary of state offered a better path to improved U.S.-Russia relations.

A Clinton Preference

Some senior Russian officials worried a Trump administration would bring “hardline advisors” who would be “likely to adhere to conservative, anti-Russian positions.” Apparently President Ronald Reagan was still fresh of mind in the Cold War psyche of Putin’s regime.

“There are no Russian plans to target any Democratic presidential candidate for active measures because any Democratic candidate is preferable to President Reagan,” Russian sources told IC agents, according to the report.

Another unidentified Russian official (the names were redacted) said Putin’s government was planning for Clinton’s victory because, “they knew where she stood and, despite media stories, Russia could work with her.” The House committee report notes that the information came from a “collaborative source with excellent access,” but whose reporting had not been corroborated.

And then there’s all of that dirt the 2020 report notes Putin had on Clinton, apparently left out of the seismic Democratic National Committee Wikileaks document dump that began spraying on the eve of the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Remember those emails showing how Democratic Party officials interfered in their own nominating process to block far-left Bernie Sanders from the nomination? (In one email, a DNC staffer reportedly suggested emphasizing  Sanders is a Jew to “weaken him in the eyes of Southern voters.”)

The Obama White House-led Intelligence Community Assessment pushed the ideas that Putin wanted to “help Trump’s chances of victory when possible by discrediting Secretary Clinton” and that he “never abandoned this objective.” But Putin held back. Why? Because Putin long believed that the election was Clinton’s to win, the report shows.

“Moscow had additional information it obtained from cyber collection against US government and nongovernment targets — such as reports on Secretary Clinton’s health — that it could have used against a Clinton Administration policies and nominees,” the report states.

‘Obsessed with a Thirst for Power’

The documents show:

› In September 2016, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) possessed Democratic National Committee (DNC) information that Obama and party leaders found the state of Clinton’s health to be “extraordinarily alarming.“ They felt it could have a “serious negative impact“ on her election prospects. Clinton’s health information was being kept in “strictest secrecy“ and even close advisers were not being fully informed.

› DNC communications in the Kremlin’s possession that the Democrat was suffering from “intensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.” Clinton, according to the emails, was placed on a daily regiment of “heavy tranquilizers.” She feared losing but remained “obsessed with a thirst for power.”

The former first lady stoked some questions about her health after weaving and stumbling while getting into a van at a September 11 memorial service. Her doctor claimed the candidate was still suffering from pneumonia.

› Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service possessed a Clinton Campaign email discussing a plan approved by Clinton to “link Putin and Russian hackers to candidate Trump in order to ‘distract the [American] public” from her email scandal.” The FBI and its director at the time, Deep State creep James Comey, were leading the suspect investigation into that scandal. As the report noted, Comey later testified that in August 2016 Russia intelligence agents had DNC emails showing the leader of the DNC “telling people that [Former Attorney General] [Loretta] Lynch was working to control me and keeping a named member of the Clinton Campaign informed on what the FBI was doing” in the investigation.

“In March 2016, the SVR had intercepted discussions between a high-ranking DNC official and a US non-governmental organization, indicating that a Clinton staffer was receiving updates on the FBI Clinton email investigation from a high-ranking Department of Justice official,” the 2020 report states.

With all of that dirt in its possession, it’s hard to justify the ICA assertion that Putin “aspired” to help Trump by discrediting Clinton, the report adds. The Kremlin had the ability to do so in the closing weeks of the campaign when Trump was drawing close in the polls and yet Putin “elected not to inject this material into the campaign.”

‘They All Need To Be Held Accountable’

Democrats derided the declassified Republican-led House Intelligence Committee report, noting the contemporaneous “bipartisan” Senate Intelligence Committee report that found Russia tried to interfere in the election and wanted Trump to win. Senate Intelligence Vice Chair Mark Warner, D-Va., called the release a “reckless act.” The accomplice media is doing everything it can to ignore or downplay the declassified documents, but the troubles for Obama and his Deep Staters aren’t going away. On Wednesday, the Department of Justice announced the formation of a Strike Force to access evidence released by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Sen. Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Permanent Committee on Investigations, commended Gabbard for declassifying and releasing documents that “confirm what we have known and suspected for years: that Obama and his lieutenants interfered in our elections and undermined our democracy to a far greater extent than anything Russia or China could ever hope to accomplish.”

“What President Obama and his senior henchmen implemented was reprehensible, and represents one of, if not the biggest and most egregious, political scandals in U.S. history,” the Wisconsin Republican said. “They all need to be held accountable.”
