He made his first trip to the early-voting state of Iowa on March 10, only days before fellow Republican Donald Trump’s scheduled event there, but DeSantis has not yet made an official announcement of a presidential bid.

Another Republican candidate, Nikki Haley, also visited Iowa in the past two days.
