The founder of the viral Twitter account Libs of TikTok, Chaya Raichik, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) clashed on March 30, according to a video posted by the right-wing think tank The Heritage Foundation.

Raichik, along with The Heritage Foundation’s Mike Howell, delivered a complaint filed with the nonpartisan Office of Congressional Ethics to Ocasio-Cortez’s congressional office, accusing Ocasio-Cortez of lying about her.

A staffer for the congresswoman took the complaint and shut the entrance door to her office.

Raichik’s accusation stems from a Feb. 8 House Oversight Committee hearing, where Ocasio-Cortez said that “from Aug. 11 to Aug. 16, that account [Libs of TikTok] posted false information about Boston Children’s Hospital, claiming that they were providing hysterectomies to children.”

She remarked that “this lie was then circulated by other prominent far-right influencers.”

Libs of TikTok—which critically posts on Twitter videos related to LGBT issues ranging from drag queens to pronoun usage to LGBT content being taught in schools—posted on Aug.8, 2022, a video from Boston Children’s Hospital offering hysterectomies.

What followed were reported threats, including a bomb hoax, to the hospital.

Ocasio-Cortez went on to accuse the Right of inciting “violence against trans-Americans in this country because they cannot let go of this obsession with fixating violence and inciting violence against trans and LGBT people, in addition to immigrants, in addition to women of color.”

Despite Ocasio-Cortez not being at her office when Raichik and Howell delivered the ethics complaint, Raichik bumped into Ocasio-Cortez while walking through the Capitol.

Raichik posed with the congresswoman for what appeared to be a picture and told her that she delivered the complaint to her office, “because you lied about me in a committee hearing.”

Ocasio-Cortez suddenly recognized she was with the woman she blasted in that hearing.

Raichik said, “I never inspired a bomb threat,” but Ocasio-Cortez refused to listen to her and instead walked away but not before delivering parting words: “You’re actually super transphobic and I never want to share a space with you.”

The video concludes with Raichik posting a note outside Ocasio-Cortez’s office: “Dear AOC, I’m back! And you’ve been served! [Love,] Chaya.”

The complaint alleges Ocasio-Cortez violated Rule 23, Clause One of the House rules.

It states, “A Member, Delegate, Resident Commissioner, officer, or employee of the House shall behave at all times in a manner that shall reflect creditably on the House.”

Left-wing writer Alejandra Caraballo posted a video on Twitter of the part where Ocasio-Cortez calls Raichik transphobic.

“@AOC told Chaya Raichik aka libs of tiktok [sic] that she’s transphobic straight to her face when she ran into her,” wrote Caraballo.

“You bet I did. NYC doesn’t play with bigots and transphobes and neither do I,” responded Ocasio-Cortez. “Have a great day!”

Raichik, on her Libs of TikTok account, fired back at Ocasio-Cortez.

“According to AOC, not wanting kids to get their body parts chopped off, attend adult sexual themed entertainment, or read porn in school is “transphobic,'” she posted.

“AOC bolted the second she realized who I was cuz she knows she lied about me and was scared to face me. What a coward!” wrote Raichik in another post on the Libs of TikTok account.
