Our Britain section is looking for an experienced public-policy journalist. This senior role involves the researching and writing of articles for the Britain team of The Economist, in print and online. The public-policy editor will play a key role in our coverage of public policy in Britain, looking at issues of public-services reform and state capacity as well as at critical elements of the growth agenda, from devolution to industrial policy, from skills to planning. The public-policy editor will also help shape the overall Britain coverage of The Economist, and in particular coverage of the way that the state operates.
