NextImg:Vivek Ramaswamy Calls For Pardoning Trump - The Conservative Brief

Earlier this week, former President Trump was officially arraigned in Miami. This follows the indictment earlier this month over his alleged handling of classified documents. The indictment is now available for public consumption and the prosecution is bringing 37 counts against Trump.

Many of the former president’s supporters maintain that what’s going on here is nothing more than a witch hunt. Meanwhile, detractors of Trump are pushing back against the notion that he’s facing phony charges.

Amid the chaos, 2024 GOP contender Vivek Ramaswamy just issued a major call to action, as documented by Breitbart News.

Taking to social media, the Republican candidate for president argued that every single contender for the White House ought to vow to pardon Trump, should he be convicted.

Furthermore, Ramaswamy explained that candidates who are unwilling to make this pledge should explain their reasoning accordingly.

The GOP candidate later went on to argue that the current case alleging Trump’s improper handling of classified documents is a clear politicization of the federal government.

Ramaswamy wants not just Republicans to make the aforementioned pledge of pardoning Trump, but he also believes Democrats like Joe Biden and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. should agree or explain themselves.

Many Trump supporters maintain that his indictments and arraignments this year speak to how far the nation has fallen.

Furthermore, Biden’s own possession of classified documents has also been reintroduced in public conversations. Given the charges against Trump, inquiring minds would like to know why Biden has yet to be indicted or arraigned.

Going forward, Americans can expect to learn more details about the latest legal matters facing Trump. So far, no presidential candidate other than Ramaswamy has pledged to pardon former President Trump, should the legal case against him eventually result in a conviction.
