NextImg:Unjust Persecution: The Government's Vendetta Against Zachary Rehl - The Conservative Brief

It has come to light that the federal government is using an interview with The Gateway Pundit as a weapon against defendant Zachary Rehl.

The government’s stance is outlined in the sentencing package on page 141. On the following page, the regime implores the court to impose the harshest possible penalty on Rehl for his refusal to submit to their authority.

The Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) expressed outrage at Rehl’s audacity to liken his trial to those conducted under the oppressive Communist China regime. They believe this warrants the maximum penalty.

It’s crucial to remember the implications of this case. Today, it’s Zachary Rehl; tomorrow, it could be you or someone you care about.

The government’s actions are a stark reminder of the potential consequences of dissent. Despite the allegations, many believe that Zachary Rehl did nothing wrong and continue to support him through prayers and donations.

Zachary Rehl, a political prisoner of the January 6th incident, now finds himself unable to afford private legal representation without the help of fellow Americans.

The government seeks a staggering 30-year sentence for Rehl, who leads the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys, for his alleged involvement in the Capitol riot. However, it’s important to note Rehl committed no violent acts on that day.

He merely walked through the Capitol building for a few minutes, took a selfie, and then left the premises.

The prosecution contends that Rehl, along with his associates Enrique Tarrio, Joseph Biggs, and Ethan Nordean, intended to incite a revolution on January 6th to keep former President Trump in power.

They label this a “terror attack” that tarnished American democracy. The government lawyers argue the roles these men played in organizing the January 6th event threatened the fundamental principles of our nation and thus warrant severe punishment.

However, there’s another side to this story. The DOJ is accused of deliberately attempting to ruin these men and their families simply because they supported Trump and attended the January 6th protests to safeguard against leftist groups like Antifa.

Rehl, Tarrio, Nordean, and Biggs were convicted of seditious conspiracy by jurors who predominantly voted for Joe Biden and openly supported Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

The government is now pushing for U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly to classify the conduct of Rehl, Tarrio, Biggs, and Nordean as “terrorism,” which would significantly increase their sentences.

The sentencing was scheduled to take place in a Washington DC court but has been postponed, causing further distress to the families who traveled to support them.
