Almost immediately after former Fox host Tucker Carlson’s Twitter show posted, Fox News decided they already lost enough, threatening him with lawsuits over a supposed breach of contract.

However, this didn’t stop the enthusiastic Carlson. He continued hosting his standalone show on Twitter, which was met with even more pushback from the network, with the latest episode prompting a cease-and-desist order.

Despite all of these efforts to stop him from speaking his truth, Tucker’s team of lawyers essentially laughed in Fox’s face.

They stated his show is fully within his 1st Amendment rights, which allow him to override the terms of the contract he’s got with Fox News.

On top of making fun of his previous employer, the highly successful host decided to put the final nail in the coffin, hiring a high-end attorney to represent him in court, should the opportunity present itself.

The man in question, Bryan Freedman, is known for his many accomplishments, including the $500 million litigation related to the late Michael Jackson’s estate, claiming the network’s move to have been absurd from the very start.

Freedman argued Fox was built on a foundation supported by free speech. Their attempts to take away one of their most successful former host’s 1st Amendment rights are hypocritical, to say the least.

Apart from Freedman, Carlson also hired Harmeet Dhillon, one of Trump’s legal advisors from his 2020 presidential campaign as additional firepower for his legal team.

After Tucker parted ways with Fox, there was little left to watch on their news channel. The company lost millions in the first couple of weeks, following the departure of their signature host.

It’s plain and simple; Fox just hates losing money.

They’ll do anything to take Tucker down with them, even if it means betraying an entire group of people who continue to watch the crap they’re selling under the guise of television programming.

While he was employed by Fox News, Tucker averaged around 3.5 million viewers every time his show was on. Once he was gone, these views came crashing down, the majority of them switching to OAN or Newsmax.
