Amid the 2024 presidential election, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley seem to be at each other’s throats over how the former handled his battle with woke Disney.

While the Florida governor has been wrestling with Disney, numerous issues surrounding his fight sprung up.

The woke corporate hypocrites turned out to be a slippery enemy and kept trying to claw back their influence over the state’s administration, institutions, and policies.

Apparently, the struggle exposed DeSantis to attacks from other bidders for the Republican nomination. Nikki Haley has now lambasted him for squandering Florida taxpayers’ money in legal action against Disney.

Speaking during a CNBC interview, Haley declared DeSantis shouldn’t be spending state money to sue Disney.

Haley’s criticism of her rival came after she was questioned by one of the leftist network’s co-hosts about her stance on the Disney-DeSantis conflict. This was asked against the backdrop of the importance of the free market, Breitbart News reports.

The 2024 hopeful responded by going back to her time as South Carolina governor and talking about her relations with the business community for the sake of taking care of the economy.

Haley somehow tried to have it both ways. She first said she “totally disagreed” with the Walt Disney Company when it went out and attacked DeSantis last year for legislation centering around the rights of parents in their children’s education.

Haley insisted companies had to stay out of politics. At the same time, she blasted her Florida rival for spending state taxpayers’ money on “suing companies.”

At this time, it remains to be seen how long this feud drags on and who else may become caught in the middle of it all. Meanwhile, DeSantis has made it clear he has no intention of backing down.
