Even though the many lockdowns had the rest of us forced into our homes for what felt like an eternity during the pandemic, the LGBTQ crowd went out of their way to host PRIDE events during this time.

Canada is one of the main culprits here.

It’s recently been found that Trudeau’s government spent upwards of $12 million on hosting these events; whereas the rest of the country was forced into a less-than-favorable situation.

Between 2020 and 2022, numerous grants ranging from a couple of hundred to $500k have been given to LGBTQ organizations for hosting PRIDE events, some of which weren’t even in-person.

The Vancouver Pride Society received several grants totaling $128k in 2020 for their events, none of which were hosted in person. This leaves one wondering where all of this money went, seeing as none of the money was spent on the venue.

Another group from Vancouver focused on art made by LGBTQ artists, received another $100k for hosting an 11-day-long Queer Arts festival. This was yet another remote event that happened in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Numerous other organizations received similar grants, all of them hosting remote events and spending upwards of $100k, which would change as lockdowns would soon be coming to an end.

If you look into this, you’ll find the Government of Canada’s official website stated its Equality for Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression Program was created to advance equality in a way that respects sexuality, gender identity, and expression.

However, the issue is the government allowed the funding of these organizations, despite the fact the entire world was placed into a state of economic chaos by the pandemic.

On top of this, none of the money granted was to be used for ongoing operations that any of the NGOs were conducting; although one would be hard-pressed to figure out how to spend $100k on a remote event.

We’ve reached a time when it’s acceptable to spend millions of dollars on events that do nothing but promote a highly political agenda forced down everyone’s throats by the left. Yet, those not involved with the LGBTQ community have to struggle in order to make ends meet.

$12 million is a lot of money. Trudeau has proven himself to be one of the most out-of-touch leaders out there, ranging from gun control laws to overspending on vanity projects.

Then again, we’ve got Biden on our end. What he’s done to America can’t even compare to what Trudeau’s been doing to Canada.
