NextImg:Transgenderism Kills American Jobs Now, Thanks to Bud Light's Mulvaney Mess - The Conservative Brief

Bud Light’s transgender promotion through disturbed individual Dylan Mulvaney rightfully sparked a widespread national boycott among decent Americans. It also had more unwanted side effects, as two bottling factors have seen themselves forced to slash almost 650 jobs.

The widespread consumer boycott has toppled the beer maker from the top spot on the US market, leading it to suffer tremendous profit and market share losses.

One problem with the noble boycott, though, is it should have targeted all brands of Bud Light’s parent company – Belgium-based Anheuser-Busch.

The source of the pro-transgenderism evil seems to be the parent corporation. A Mexican beer brand that surpassed Bud Light in US sales is actually also owned by Anheuser-Busch.

So, while the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco shattered Bud Light, Anheuser-Busch doesn’t really seem to have been affected.

In the meantime, two bottling factories in the US – operated by the Ardagh Group in Simsboro, Louisiana and Wilson, North Carolina had to lay off hundreds of workers.

Ardagh makes bottles for Bud Light. Its Simsboro factory had to lay off all of its 245 workers, while the one in Wilson let go all of its nearly 400 employees, The Daily Mail reports.

The company didn’t explicitly name Bud Light’s transgenderism fiasco amid the mass layoffs – it only said they were implemented under a “multi-year optimization program.”

However, WRAL discovered it’s Bud Light’s collapsing sales caused by the boycott that brought about the closure of the two bottling plants.

An internal Ardagh memo from May 18 revealed company execs were already planning to shut down the factors because of “slow sales” of the Anheuser-InBev subsidiary.

Bud Light’s self-inflicted mess became even more absurd after Mulvaney himself accused the company of not standing up for him in the face of anti-gender ideology backlash.

Also, Bud Light’s sales have been collapsing by about 30% on a weekly basis and will likely get even worse.

The big question is whether Anheuser-Busch will be punished and whether corporations will learn to keep away from promoting leftist monstrosities and from politics altogether.
