Will the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol ever come to an end? Despite this happening more than two years ago, the media won’t stop talking about that day.
Plus the unjust persecution and imprisonment of protesters continues. Was this really some “insurrection?”
Is this date so talked about because it was a truly horrible event or because it involves Trump’s name? We all know the answer to that, especially considering the left has repeatedly done things similar to January 6.
Remember when rabid Marxists attacked the Capitol building when Justice Neil Kavanaugh was confirmed in September 2018?
In fact, 120 granola-munching Antifa nutjobs were arrested for threatening violence against Kavanaugh and trying to storm the Capitol back in 2018. However, you don’t hear the leftist media and GOP talking about it every day or calling it an “insurrection.”
Now, the truth about January 6 is finally being admitted by the FBI.
Now, the FBI admits there was no insurrection on January 6. It’s about time. After all, insurrection is an act of rebellion, not just some protest or aggressive behavior that makes some people uncomfortable.
An insurrection is to attempt with the use of violence or serious threats to prevent the exercise of constitutional powers. This type of crime carries a prison sentence of four to eight years, in addition to the penalties corresponding to violence.
According to some FBI officers, both permanent and retired, there isn’t much evidence that the riot at the U.S. Capitol was a massive, planned act.
A few of the members who wanted to stop the certification of the 2020 presidential election results are not evidence of an actual “insurrection.” It’s the evidence of a few deranged individuals.
Considering most of the Proud Boys and other groups were full of fed informants, to claim any group conspiracy is also now complete nonsense. This wasn’t an insurrection.
Only 5% of the total people involved in the J6 riot were members of militia groups. Of the several thousand people who entered the US Capitol, the vast majority were not trying to participate in any plot or “insurrection.”
It’s ironic the FBI finally admits this. After all the FBI has actual knowledge of the groups’ participation in the riots since they had informants throughout the ranks.
Despite this, the FBI couldn’t find any real evidence that members of the groups, like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers, for example, planned what to do if they managed to storm the Capitol.
The FBI and various government agencies including DC police undercover members helped incite violence on J6. It wasn’t an insurrection; it was a set-up.
