California has a lot of problems that have yet to be addressed.

At the top of the list are homelessness, the lack of affordable living costs, and rampant drug abuse. However, with Democrats having an iron-clad grip on power throughout the state, there are no real indications that any of these issues will be addressed.

In the meantime, more problems continue to emerge. Just last month, the nation learned that a COVID lab with ties to China was operating out of California. To this day, it still remains a mystery as to what Gov. Gavin Newsom knew about the lab and what measures (if any) he plans to take.

Now, yet another crazy story comes from California. According to the Gateway Pundit, this incident centers around a series of suspicious packages that led to the bomb squad being called in.

Los Angeles County was in for a shock when questionable packages were delivered into their community via parachute. When the bomb squad eventually arrived on the scene to review the packages, they discovered different vials with balloons attached to them.

Apparently, all of this was put together for a school project. Members of the bomb squad were able to calm everyone down and put concerns to bed after slowly emptying the contents of these packages.

Nevertheless, the original location from which they were sent still remains a mystery. So far, there’s been no report of any return address or other traceable markings.

Before the bomb squad arrived on the scene to provide more information, various buildings were evacuated for the overall safety of community residents.

Similarly to other recent issues that emerged out of California, the state’s governor has not yet made public remarks on the matter. Though given the high-profile nature of these packages, it’s safe to assume that Newsom’s administration was briefed.
