The Cook County State’s Attorney, Kim Foxx, whose campaign received funding from George Soros, has faced immense criticism for her controversial actions in Chicago.

Back in 2019, the Gateway Pundit shared information regarding the release of text messages from Foxx. This exposed her ongoing involvement in the Jussie Smollett race-hoax case, despite having stepped back from it officially.

Foxx’s conduct has raised numerous eyebrows, leading to a Cook County judge lambasting her for employing blatant double standards.

The judge highlighted a case where Foxx pursued prosecution against a woman accused of filing a false police report, while simultaneously dropping 16 considerably more severe charges against actor Smollett.

During the initial three years of her tenure, Foxx astonishingly dismissed more than 25,000 felony cases in the Chicago region. In a surprising turn of events, the Gateway Pundit shared news in April that Foxx declared she would not be running for re-election in 2024.

Foxx’s time as Cook County State’s Attorney has been marked by a series of staff exits. However, the prospect of her impending departure seems insufficient to retain the remaining employees in the office.

Just last week, Jason Poje, an Assistant State’s Attorney, stepped down after dedicating two decades of his career to the people of Cook County.

As he bid farewell, Poje authored a blistering letter directed at Foxx, leaving no stone unturned in expressing his concerns and dissatisfaction.

Bond reform was intended to prevent extended jail stays for defendants. It also shortened parole periods, reduced sentences for repeat offenders, and led to the unwarranted prosecution of law enforcement officers.

Likewise, there was an excessive reliance on diversion programs and the intentional disregard of legally enacted criminal statutes had detrimental effects. These so-called reforms will have lasting consequences for an entire generation.
