NextImg:Roseanne Barr Calls Out Ukrainian President For His Pact With Neo-Nazi Militant Group - The Conservative Brief

On July 11, 2023, Roseanne Barr was interviewed by Piers Morgan when she proceeded to attack Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his government.

She specifically blasted Zelensky’s government for the pact that it made with the Azov Battalion and similar far-right paramilitary groups that use Nazi symbolism.

Barr believes the present-day Ukrainian state excessively courted these Nazi groups. Such moves struck a personal chord with Barr, whose family is of Ukrainian Jewish origin and was murdered by Nazis when they invaded Ukraine during World War II.

She believes the corporate media downplayed this dark aspect of Ukrainian history and put forward a historically misleading narrative about Ukraine.

Barr ultimately implored that people do their own research and take the media’s coverage of Ukraine with a grain of salt.

Since February 24, 2022, Ukraine has been staving off an invasion from Russia, as a part of a broader conflict that the two countries have been immersed in over the past decade.

Barr took a skeptical view of this conflict, while Piers Morgan challenged her interpretation of events unfolding in Ukraine.

Morgan called attention to how Zelensky is Jewish, which allegedly disproves the theory that Ukraine is a de facto Nazi state.

However, Barr noted the Zelensky regime is acting out of sheer political pragmatism by forming an unholy pact with hard-right organizations like the Azov Battalion.

In Barr’s view, Zelensky’s Jewish extraction does not disprove the fact that Ukraine’s government has become increasingly reliant on extremist forces to defend against this conflict with Russia.

Ever since Russia launched its “special military operation” against Ukraine, the United States and its allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) sent billions of dollars in military and economic aid to Ukraine.

In addition, Western media pursued a concerted campaign to prop up Ukraine’s image worldwide, while depicting Russia in as negative of a light as possible.
