NextImg:Notorious Cult Leader Says FBI Framed Him, Wants New Trial - The Conservative Brief

Cult leader Keith Raniere is currently serving a 120-year sentence in jail for leading the infamous NXIVM cult and his own private inner circle sex ring called DOS.

Though Raniere is now doing his best to get a new trial, saying the FBI planted underage photos on his computer and the investigation into him was flawed.

This is the third time Raniere has tried to get a new trial. While it’s unlikely to be granted, it is possible a judge will see merit in this claim and let this convicted psychotic pervert have another try to prove his innocence.

Raniere’s two previous attempts to get a new trial were not granted. This time around, he’s saying photos of one of his DOS sex slaves, who was 15 when he was in his mid-forties, were put there by the FBI.

Prosecutors note they already proved at trial that he took these photos and kept them on his computer. In a rare case of a journalist doing some good, investigative reporter Frank Parlato was one of those who busted NXIVM.

As he explained, Camila has already sworn under oath that Raniere took the photos of her naked in bed and told her how to pose and what to do.

Raniere started sleeping with Camila in 2005 after her entire family moved from Mexico to become part of his cult.

The sick truth is Raniere’s sexual molestation and grooming of Camila are already well-proven, including with medical evidence. We’ll keep tuned to development here and see if Raniere gets a new trial.

He claimed for years to followers that he was the “smartest” man on earth and would solve war, poverty, and mental illness of all kinds. He even still has some deluded followers who believe in him, despite him being in prison for life.

If that’s the case, you’d think he could come up with a better excuse to try to get a new trial.
