Earlier this month, it came to the nation’s attention that cocaine was found at the White House. This discovery was made by Secret Service officials, who then had to have parts of the White House evacuated for security reasons.
It didn’t take long for speculations to arise that the cocaine belonged to Hunter Biden. After all, the president’s son has been living in the White House. He also has a lifelong history of serious drug abuse.
Though despite these details and the popular theory that the cocaine belonged to Hunter, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz holds a different thought on who’s responsible for the drug, as reported by the Gateway Pundit.
The Republican senator went on record saying he thinks the cocaine is not from the president’s son, but from someone working within the Biden administration.
Cruz made this argument by noting that with all the security and cameras in the White House, it’s just not realistic for no one to be able to figure out who discarded cocaine near the West Wing.
Later, Cruz said the Biden administration has an interest in politicizing matters to extreme degrees, along with lying to the American people about not being able to ascertain who smuggled and discarded cocaine by the West Wing.
As the GOP lawmaker noted, the Biden administration has a longstanding pattern of lying to the country.
While Hunter Biden is the easiest person to suspect of sneaking cocaine into the White House, it’s entirely plausible that someone a little less obvious is the real culprit.
Either way it goes, no one should count on the White House to be candid about the drug’s discovery or reveal what really transpired. At this rate, it’s likely that top Biden administration officials are very aware of who’s responsible for the cocaine.
