Radical leftists of all varieties are feeling “betrayed” by Muslims after Hamtramck, Michigan, the only Muslim-majority city in the United States, went ahead and banned Gay Pride flags.

It did so with the argument that those were threatening and disrespecting the religion of its residents.

One of the funniest, most-rewarding developments in today’s America is when one group of presumed America-haters gets attacked and/or “betrayed” by another. This just played out in Hamtramck, Michigan, a Muslim-dominated town of 30,000.

Democrats are now crying bloody murder, but the deed is done. Hamtramck’s seven-member all-Muslim town council banned Gay Pride flags, allowing only America and other nation’s flags on its territory.

The decision is a big blow to Democrats, who in 2015 literally “celebrated” when Hamtramck became the first town in the US with a Muslim-majority council, The Guardian reports.

According to the same deranged lefties, who are now overwhelmed with “liberal dismay,” the development at the time was a “meaningful rebuke” of “Islamophobia.”

The report points out how local communists watched helplessly as the “socially conservative” Muslim council outlawed LGBT symbols.

To top it all off, the Muslim residents of the town cheered in the streets, with social media posts by local Islamists declaring that Hamtramck had become a “fagless city.”

The ridiculous scenes at the council vote saw a town councilor – Mohammed Hassan – shout at LGBT supporters that this was what the “majority” of his constituents wanted.

The report quotes Karen Majewski, a Polish American, former mayor of Hamtramck, and Democrat, who declared there was a “sense of betrayal,” with local groups now engaged in vicious political battles.

Majewski went on to whine about how liberals supported Muslims when the latter’s rights were threatened, but now Muslims aren’t just failing to support the lefties when their rights are threatened – it’s the Muslims who are “doing the threatening.”
