NextImg:More Talk Emerges Regarding Possible DeSantis 2024 Run - The Conservative Brief

In real-time, there still remains a lot of talk about a presidential run from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. So far, the governor’s been making headlines for policy decisions in his state, the new book that he wrote, and various speaking engagements he’s been giving throughout the country.

Right now, if a presidential announcement does come from the Florida governor, it’s expected to arrive around May or June. With America already being in the second half of April, this timeframe is rapidly approaching.

Nevertheless, given the possibility of a DeSantis 2024 run, more attention is being directed toward potential big-money donors that may back him, per the Gateway Pundit.

Thomas Peterffy, one huge GOP donor, expressed that he and others are “on hold” when it comes to supporting DeSantis in a presidential election.

According to Peterffy, top-dollar Republican donors want to get a look at which primary candidates are most likely to win in 2024 before committing to who they will support.

Currently, it is still early and it still remains to be seen if DeSantis actually does throw his hat in the ring.

Though Peterffy has stressed that he doesn’t agree with the recent six-week abortion ban that DeSantis signed. The top donor also isn’t a fan of various education policies backed by the Florida governor.

Within the next several months, the American people will have a much better idea of who all is planning to compete for the GOP nomination in 2024. Furthermore, there will be a more accurate, reliable account of who the top-dollar donors are choosing to throw their weight behind.
