The rise of Marxism infecting various educational institutions has been a problem for years on end now. It’s why critical race theory and DEI being pushed in various schools continues to trigger national backlash.
Likewise, Americans are repeatedly clashing with different educators who apparently view classrooms as places to push left-wing politics.
This is unfortunately getting support at the institutional level, with some organizations claiming that Marxism being taught in classrooms is a good thing.
The latest incident of controversy involves the American Library Association (ALA) and its own turn to Marxism. According to the Gateway Pundit, the state of Montana is fed up with the ALA and hence acting accordingly.
Because of the ALA’s extremism, the Montana State Library is no longer going to retain membership with the organization. This comes after a commission voted accordingly, citing the ALA’s turn to Marxism isn’t in alignment with the state’s Constitution.
Ahead of this vote, parents in Montana were also given a chance to speak out and express their concerns. Moms and dads in the state explained that pulling the Montana State Library’s ALA membership is a great way to send a message to organizations.
Parents also made a point of saying the ALA and other organizations’ endorsements of critical race theory are very troubling.
Montana isn’t the only red state in America that’s tired of Marxist being crammed down the education system at a systemic level. Therefore, if things don’t change pretty rapidly, there’s a fair possibility that other state commisions could determine to cut ties with the ALA as well.
One way or another, these organizations will have to face the fact that radical leftism and Marxism just aren’t going to go over well with the American public.
