Robert F. Kennedy Jr. created waves in the Democratic establishment when he announced his campaign in the 2024 presidential election. RFK Jr. is running to challenge Biden as the incumbent in order to secure the Democratic nomination.
Right now, the higher-ups in the Democrat Party seem hard at work to prevent this from happening. One obvious indicator is the party allowing the Democratic primary to play out without any debates.
In a debate setting, Biden would actually have to face competitors, answer hard questions, and otherwise fend for himself without handlers controlling his every move. It doesn’t look like the Democratic establishment wants this to happen.
As the powers that be seemingly intervene on Biden’s behalf, the left-wing media is now going after RFK Jr., as reported by Conservative Review.
RFK Jr. has gone on the record, speaking out about the very real problems associated with the COVID vaccine, how it was managed, and its negative side effects.
Meanwhile, this has been criticized by Dr. Peter Hotez, who’s a major proponent of the vaccine. On Twitter, there’s also been some talk of Hotez and RFK Jr. debating, due to the former accusing the latter of spreading baseless misinformation.
However, according to MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, Hotez shouldn’t debate RFK Jr. at all. Hasan went so far as to compare the Democratic presidential candidate to a “Holocaust denier,” arguing that any sort of debate with RFK Jr. would be dangerous.
For a member of the mainstream media to openly discourage genuine dialogue between a public figure and a presidential candidate is almost unheard of.
Sadly, many other Democrats have been discouraging any sort of debate where RFK Jr. can speak with those who disagree with his views.
So far, it remains to be seen if any such debate does go forward, given the ongoing controversy.
