Rabid leftists are overly eager to use the federal government and the justice system to destroy former President Trump – as indicated by vile comments from Andrew Weissmann.

He is a former senior FBI operative who practically argued Americans critical of Biden’s Justice Department are the same as the KKK.

Speaking in an interview with MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, Weissmann declared he “violently” rejected the notion that the DOJ should not have indicted Trump in order to avoid seeming political ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

In his interview on Wallace’s show “Deadline: White House,” Wiessmann compared any worries that the DOJ’s indictment might seem too political to a 1950s scenario in which a DA might refuse to prosecute a black person’s homicide for fear of riling up the KKK, NewsBusters reports.

Weissmann was called by the MSNBC host to comment on a Washington Post article, claiming the FBI “resisted” investigating Trump’s alleged “actions to steal” the last presidential election.

According to the article’s authors, they discovered a concerning “culture of appeasing Trump” inside the Justice Department.

Weissmann’s interview comes at a time when the Biden Justice Department shamelessly went ahead and indicted Trump on dozens of severe charges, less than 1.5 years before the 2024 election.

The former DOJ and FBI senior executive, who is now an NYU law professor, went much further and categorically on the offensive, even beyond his KKK comparison.

He argued the way for the Justice Department to be “apolitical” was to decisively prosecute Trump.

The report points out that in 2016, then-FBI chief James Comey refused to prosecute Hillary Clinton notwithstanding ample evidence of her wrongdoing, with the argument that charging the Democratic frontrunner would be “overtly political.”
