A critically important official handled Joe Biden’s records while the latter was Barack Obama’s vice president.

This official was also involved in a massive scandal at the Commerce Department of the Clinton administration, a report reveals in court documents.

The revelation that Kathy S. Chung, a long-time records custodian and aide for Biden, was also punished in a Clinton administration debacle, comes against the backdrop of last Friday’s indictment Trump.

At the same time, Biden, who was found to have kept classified US records over decades – including from his time as vice president and as a senator from Delaware – doesn’t seem to be facing any consequences whatsoever.

According to new revelations by RealClearInvestigations, Chung was a member of a team that got sanctioned for hiding and even destroying crucial documents.

This happened amid a federal probe seeking sensitive materials from a person involved in the 1990s’ Chinagate fundraising investigation, The Gateway Pundit reports.

At the time, a DOJ special prosecutor ordered Chung to remove boxes containing some classified papers from the White House. She was then told to take them to private offices in the nation’s capital, including its Chinatown, plus Biden’s house in Wilmington, Delaware.

The report points out Chung started working for Biden after previously working with his prodigal son, Hunter. Prosecutors are allegedly looking into whether the Biden family’s business dealings with the regime of China are connected with his stockpiling of classified papers.

It is notable that the alleged mishandling occurred in 2017-2018.

During this time, the Chinese sent Hunter Biden and James Biden, Joe’s brother, nearly $6 million in payments, even though the Bidens didn’t provide any known services in return.

Thus, the payments, which the US Treasury Department flagged as suspicious, may have something to do with Sleepy Joe’s breach of classified records.

Chung herself was interrogated on January 4 by a federal team led by John Lausch, a US attorney. As a result, the Justice Department’s chief, Biden’s AG Merrick Garland, appointed a special counsel to the case, Robert Hur.

It is now revealed that during the 1990s, Chung was a witness in the case of Jian-Nan “John” Huang. This is a top Commerce Department official who was convicted as the “Chinagate fundraiser” after he gave up US trade secrets to the Chinese regime.
