It’s been a rough few years for conservatives in the US. The woke mob forced its agenda into every crevasse of our daily lives, from education to entertainment. There’s not a single place you’ll find that doesn’t try to normalize drag races.
Of course, these aren’t the drag races you’re probably used to. These are sponsored by the LGBTQ community; they’ve been working around the clock to include YOUR children in their events, including those with grown men dressed in revealing women’s clothing.
Thankfully, Texas has an iota of common sense left.
Governor Greg Abbott decided to put an end to this chicanery, signing a bill that would prevent children from attending or being included in these depraved events.
The legislation originally passed in May with an 87-54 vote and the majority of the pushback being from Democrats.
On June 18th, Abbott signed Senate Bill 12 into law, meaning any business or venue that breaks the law will now be fined up to $10k per violation; whereas the performers can get a Class A misdemeanor, which results in a year in prison and a fine of $4k.
With this in mind, many of the drag show “performers” will think twice before deciding to organize and attend events near or inside Texas schools.
Many celebrated the legislature being signed into law, including Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, who claimed Abbott’s move was part of the necessary pushback against the radical left.
He added that Senate Bill 12 was one of his top priorities. It was one way of preventing the LGBTQ+ community from interacting with and influencing Texas children, something every parent can relate to.
Naturally, Twitter had a meltdown over the signing of the bill, claiming it was “homophobic” and “transphobic,” which is something they’ll slap onto anything they disagree with.
In practice though, Abbott signing the bill means that more red states will follow suit, taking a stand against the radical left and protecting our children from their divisive and depraved agenda.
American kids deserve better; if the future of education is one that enforces drag shows and gender pronouns, the youngest generation won’t have much to look forward to.
