Federal prosecutors allegedly modified footage of Oath Keeper founder Kelly Meggs during the January 6 protest to convict him in court.
Donna Fiducia and Don Neuen, hosts of Cowboy Logic on Real America’s Voice, recently presented a severe charge. They claim the Department of Justice manipulated footage from the events of January 6 to imprison Meggs. ‘
During the Capitol protests, the Oath Keepers found Officer Harry Dunn alone and extremely nervous, given he had no backup or support.
The Oath Keepers noticed the very stressed Dunn was armed with an AR-15 and attempted to calm him down, forming a wall around him. Facing away to keep the crowds from reaching him, many consider this to be the truthful telling of events.
The only problem was the testimony of Harry Dunn, which Kelly Meggs says was not consistent during the trial with his story, later claiming the Oath Keepers made him feel threatened.
Amid the three trials held on the Oath Keepers, footage from Stephen Horn, who recorded himself in the Capitol, was presented by federal prosecutors of their circle around Dunn.
Horn begins to sound outside the Capitol, then proceeds to enter and eventually concludes once again outside.
Initially, Horn’s footage showed him encountering the Oath Keepers during his tour, lasting about 55-48 minutes. However, the footage shown in court by the prosecutors reveals a freeze frame before Horn encounters the Oath Keepers.
The defendant (including Kelly Meggs) and their litigation teams could not validate their claims with the modified footage. The Oath Keepers in either three of the trial were barred from evening seeing the tampered clip.
The complete Stephen Horn footage is now public domain and contains the extended clip of the Oath Keepers protecting Dunn from the crowd.
