Senator Roger Marshall introduced a bill called the One Flag for All Act. This bill aims to stop any flag other than the American flag from being flown on government buildings.

The move comes after the Biden White House made the call to display the “Pride Flag” during an LGBTQ+ event.

The senator from Kansas was not happy with this. In a tweet, the Republican expressed his disapproval strongly, stating, “This is a disgrace.”

He claimed the situation not only violated the US Flag Code, but also demonstrated the incompetence and insistence of the White House in placing their social agenda before patriotism.

Senator Marshall elaborated on his stance in a conversation with Fox News Digital, expressing his belief the US flag should never be undermined by anyone, especially not the president of the United States.

According to him, it’s quite disheartening when the White House seems to prioritize what he considers an extreme social movement above US patriotism.

The senator from Kansas underlined the paramount importance of the American flag.

“Old Glory ought to remain superior as an emblem of our nation’s freedom, a freedom that has been fought and died for by thousands of our service members and veterans,” he added.

He suggested the One Flag For All Act could guarantee the American Flag remains the primary symbol of our nation’s freedom and sacrifices, free from the influence of culture wars and political points.

Several political figures echoed Senator Marshall’s criticism of the White House’s decision to fly the Pride flag. Among them was former Democratic congresswoman and presidential candidate, Tulsi Gabbard.
